Oh sweet baby Koa it was so lovely to see you again! It really does amaze me how much babies grow in that first year of life... This little lady made my day with her gorgeous smiles & character - what a doll!
Wow what a busy year it has been, I honestly can't believe its September already?!? In between lots of weddings / portraits we have had a major revamp of our studio space, and Kat has been on maternity leave with her new baby girl Josie since April (she is returning next month yay!!!)
Consequently I have been very slack with blogging! I figure that now another wedding season is officially upon us with the start of spring, I should share some special moments of the gorgeous couples we have been honoured to work with so far this year.
If you are getting married & would like to chat about your wedding, we would love to hear from you! At Bloom we pride ourselves on our 'no hidden extras' style wedding packages, at each wedding we also work with 2 photographers so that every moment possible is captured.
We strive to make your wedding day coverage as relaxed & hassle free as possible, it is YOUR day! Here are some special moments from our recent weddings :
I am absolutely thrilled to win the 2017 AIPP NSW Portrait Photographer of the Year (I was also named a finalist in the Illustrative Category). Judging took place in Sydney on the 21st-22nd May with entries from all over the state, with an awards ceremony held last Tuesday evening in Darling Harbour.
I came away with 2 gold awards & 2 silver awards across the portrait & illustrative categories which I am really proud of. Gold awards are not given out easily... to put it into perspective out of 680 entries just 22 golds were awarded - and I received 2 of them! Whoohoo!
It is such a huge honour (I am still pinching myself!), it really does mean the world to me to have won a category in the prestigious NSW Awards 3 years in a row!!
All I can say is dream big - you just never know unless you put yourself out there...
